Unity

In this magazine ad adidas uses unity by proximity.  Although each shoe is an entirely different element by itself, by arranging them together in a particular way the main focus is now on the adidas logo that they form as a whole and now one doesn't focus on each individual shoe, but the whole composition.

Balance

Balance is arranging elements so that no one part of a work overpowers, or seems heavier than any other part. The three different kinds of balance are symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial.  (wikipedia)
